This week on the Backyards and Bevvies Podcast PK has a close friend of his, Cal Long, who he toured with for many years. PK has always been very impressed by how in shape Cal is so this episode is dedicated to him and his awesomeness and how he stays in shape out on the road.
The conversation starts off with their love of tattoos and punk rock music which is how they bonded right away on tour. To this day, they share music and even old punk rock videos with each other that they find. They go into PK’s days on the road with Green Day and how awesome that energy was and how epic some of these older punk rock bands are live! Cal surprises PK with one of his favorite bevvies of all time! It also was one of the beers Cal drank in his days in college for one specific reason. Can you guess where Cal got his first experience with this Bevvy? Music and Soccer were the two things that mattered most to Cal and were what got him started down his fitness path. As the conversation moves forward they get into exactly what sports Cal loves and which athletes truly push him in his life. They jump into what soccer means to Cal and his love for the sport. Then the main conversation is all about how Cal works out and how he keeps working out fun. Wait till you hear where he got his idea on starting his clothing company. Then Cal flips the script and asks me some rapidfire questions! Have fun listening to this episode and enjoy hearing PK get tongue-twisted more than once having fun with his buddy Cal.
